Purpose
This Copyright Notice-and-Takedown Policy explains how The Naked Truth receives and handles copyright and related-rights complaints. It supplements the Terms & Conditions, Content Policy and Creator Partner Program Agreement.
Submitting a Notice
A valid copyright notice must include all of the following:
Identify the copyrighted work or protected material allegedly infringed.
Identify the content on the Platform and provide enough information to locate it.
Provide your name, organization where applicable, email address, postal address and phone number.
State that you have a good-faith belief that the use is not authorized by the rights holder, agent or law.
State that the information is accurate and that you are authorized to act for the rights holder.
Provide a physical or electronic signature.
Platform Action
The Naked Truth may remove, disable, restrict, investigate, request information, contact the Creator, hold monetization or take other appropriate action upon receiving a valid notice.
Counter-Notice / Creator Response
Creators may submit a counter-notice or explanation. The Naked Truth will review the evidence and decide on the appropriate course of action.
What creators may submit
Explanation that content is authorized, licensed, original, public-domain, permitted by law or wrongly identified — along with licenses, releases, invoices, contracts, source files or other supporting evidence.Possible outcomes
Content may be restored, kept disabled, have restrictions modified or payment holds maintained, depending on the evidence presented and legal risk assessment.Repeat Infringers and Abuse
Repeated infringement, serious IP risk, fraudulent notices, abusive counter-notices or misuse of the copyright process may lead to content removal, Profile restriction, suspension, termination, payout holds or legal action.
No Legal Determination
The Naked Truth may take operational steps to reduce risk, but it does not act as a court and does not make final legal determinations of copyright ownership or infringement.
